Are cheap items, expensive items?

Your interior! You love beautiful pillows, vases and flowers. You also want your own touch and preferably even different a few times a year. But conclusion just too expensive.. Or not?

Money

Be smart

Yes, be smart with investing in living items. How? It starts with choosing the right living item. We explain it to you in 5 steps.

Step 1 Choices
Make choices. What do you think is important? Cushions on the couch? A vase on the dining table or something on the wall?

Step 2 Think big
Suppose you have chosen the vase. Choose big and think big. You will think in advance, but bigger is more expensive. That’s right! But there are several advantages.

  • You only need 1 item and therefore more control over the expenditure.
  • When buying several separate items, you will see that you spend about the same amount of money together.
  • 1 item is easier to clean and maintain.
  • You will be more careful with it, which will make it last longer.

Step 3 Neutral
Choose the large vase in a neutral color and of good quality. As a result, the vase can last for a long time and also remains fashionable for a long time! An example of this is eg. Vaas Kara.

Step 4 Personal touch!
What do you like at the moment? Of eucalyptus, large plumes or purple hues? Choose the bouquet you really love. The colors and materials you love give the vase your personal touch. You can go for a dry bouquet in all kinds of colors and sizes. E.g. dry bouquet Jane This is a bouquet that fits in many interiors.

Step 5 Multifunctional
Some living items can be used for multiple functions, such as the Tasman vase. This is a vase that can also be used as a lantern. If you are temporarily fed up with the Tasman as a vase, simply use it as a lantern. Ideal!

To invest

You have now spent some money on the vase and the chosen bouquet. By the combination of choosing one item in a neutral color and yet personal with the bouquet, you will notice that you can enjoy this for a very long time. This means you can really use a vase for years (or use it as a candle holder). Then calculate how expensive that vase is on a yearly basis and you will see that it is cheaper in the end. & important also in your style!
